Is the display a capacitive multitouch screen?

Yes. Two fingers only.

Is the display glossy?

YES!. The display is shipped with a matte screen protector which the user can install if desired.

Is the display fingerprint/scratch resistant?

Yes, only when used with the included screen protector

Does the Adam support sub-pixel rendering and hinting?

Yes.

Are any pictorial comparisons available for Pixel Qi/non-Pixel Qi Screens?

Yes, at: www.pixelqi.com/products – for example:

Is the Pixel Qi display Grayscale and not colour?

In Transmissive mode, the backlight is ON and that serves as a colour display. In the reflective mode, the backlight is turned off, and this results in a grayscale display.

Is the use of a stylus supported?

When asked about what type of stylus is recommended for note taking, Rohan responded, "...whatever is working fine on other capacitive devices, will work on Adam too."[S]

How do I differentiate between a Pixel Qi Screen and a normal LCD screen?

In Rohan's own words, “The best way to confirm in videos is the color saturation and depth. If the colors look ‘silverish’ and light, its Pixel Qi. If they are saturated and deep, its LCD.”

Is there an ambient light sensor to adjust the backlight automatically?

Yes. It is present on the right edge of the screen in landscape mode.

Can the functionality of the ambient light sensor be disabled?

Yes.

What is the exact bezel size?

Battery edge is 1.75" button side is 7/8", bottom edge is 7/8" and power jack side is 7/8" or

4.445CM on battery by 2.23CM by 2.23CM by 2.23CM give or take.

What is the colour gamut? Saturation levels?

For the Pixel Qi display the panel provides 260K colors with about 40% of the saturation of a non-Pixel Qi display.

In normal viewing there is very little difference in color between my Dell ATG laptop and the ADAM. I'm happy with my Pixel Qi display.

In bright sunlight, the PQ display looks blueish and there isn't much color available. It is very readable compared to an iPaid tablet.

UNANSWERED

What are the viewing angles on the LCD and the Pixel Qi screens? How does it compare to IPS/AMOLED displays?

I don't have the specifics, but the PQ display are good enough for one person.

How many points does multi-touch support?

According to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=597On89k4iU it appears it only supports 2 points.  It is unknown if this is a software rather than a hardware limitation. According to the FCC teardown, the touchpad controller chip is capable of supporting 70 channels.
