A number of ADAM owners discovered a clear plastic film covering the lens plate of the ADAM camera.

Some ADAMs even have two pieces of this protective film attached. Carefully remove the film using a hobby knife

and the camera images will improve. Be careful and don't remove the clear plastic lens cover.

The ADAM can have different operating systems installed on it. This is called "rooting".
