Guy's I've been back and forth looking at that picture all night, and I hate to say it again, but I'm positive and no one else seems to be letting it sink in. The picture is a render, not a photograph. It has GI (global illumination) lighting artifacts all *over* the place, and cloth tesselation can be seen in many areas of the blanket. The case, bezel, and screen of the Adam do not have any real-world specularity or reflectivity it should have given the lighting on the blanket. Whatever happens two hours from now, for right now this picture is *not* an Adam.”

“So, I was recently told that becoming fluent with CAD would be very beneficial towards my eventual line of work, so I started to learn to use Google SketchUp (a free 3D CAD program). After browsing through Rohans blog, I saw the pictures of the guy who made a mock up adam using, what looked to be, a bunch of cut up cereal boxes. That instantly gave me inspiration to draw my first real CAD model. It aint much since I'm still noob at it, but I worked hard to make sure the dimensions were accurate, and I think it gives a pretty good idea of what the current bezel looks like (if I may say so myself), since the increased bezel size was disconcerting to some.” ~ brennanyama, in ‘My Google Sketchedup Adam’, 05 Dec 10
